This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the different views Māori and Pakeha have in relation to the natural world and the different ways that they interact with it through looking at Māori understandings of landscape and seascape.

Introduction to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Jan 2009

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an environment for people to explore the Treaty of Waitangi and its implications in a non-confrontational, participatory process. This learning framework enables participants to understand the historical context of the Treaty as well as the contemporary debate and its relevance.

Digital Photography Jan 2009

A practical course in digital photography tailored for people who have recently bought a digital camera, or have one that they are unsure of using properly and would like to improve their skills. This course will cover: Digital camera basics, photographic basics, care of your camera, downloading images, practical shooting at every session, printers and printing, shooting techniques, accessories, use of the internet for digital photography, hints and tips and a variety of additional knowledge depending on class needs.
