Te Reo and Tikaka Maori for Ceremonial Use (Level 4)

This course is part of the Certificate in Mata a ao Maori and is aimed at providing participants with a good understanding of Te Reo me ona tikaka as it relates to ceremonies. Participants will gain a clear understanding of tikaka and kawa. While use and practice of Kāi Tahu and tikaka will be used there will be discussion of the regional and dialectal differences.

There will be one face-to-face session per week (commencing Thursday 24th July):
Day: Thursdays from 2.00 – 3.00 pm
Venue: Otago Polytechnic, Forth St. Room G205, G Block
Fee: $233.50 (excl. US fee & Hook On fee)

There will also be one Elluminate (computer conferencing) session per week with a choice about which one you want to log onto:

Tuesdays from 3.00 – 4.00 pm or
Wednesdays from 4.00 – 5.00 pm
