Te Reo and Tikaka Maori for Ceremonial Use (August)

This course is an elective within the Certificate in Mata a Ao Maori programme.

This course aims to provide participants with a good understanding of Te Reo me ona tikaka as it relates to ceremonies. Participants will gain a clear understanding of tikaka and kawa. While use and practice of Kai Tahu reo and tikaka will be used, there will be discussion of the regional and dialectical differences.
